Terms of Service

Effective date: July 3, 2026

These terms govern your use of alleghenywallworks.com ("the Site"), operated by Compass Camper LLC, an Oregon limited liability company operating as Compass Lead Group ("we," "us"). By using the Site, you agree to these terms.

What the Site is

The Site is a marketing and lead generation service. It connects homeowners with independent, licensed retaining wall contractors. Compass Camper LLC is not a licensed contractor, does not perform retaining wall or construction work, does not employ tradespeople, and is not a party to any agreement you enter with a contractor. All retaining wall and related services are performed by independent licensed contractors under their own licenses, insurance, and business terms.

No professional advice

Content on the Site, including guides about geology, permits, insurance, and costs, is general information provided for convenience. It is not engineering, legal, financial, or insurance advice, and it may become outdated as rules and conditions change. Decisions about your property should be based on the advice of appropriately licensed professionals who have examined your specific situation.

Contractor work

We make no warranty of any kind regarding the work, conduct, availability, pricing, or licensure status of any contractor, and we expressly disclaim liability for services performed by contractors. Any warranty on contractor work comes from the contractor, not from us. You are responsible for evaluating any contractor before hiring, including verifying license and insurance, and we encourage you to do so.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Compass Camper LLC and its members, officers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss of property, revenue, or data, arising out of your use of the Site or your engagement of any contractor, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. To the extent any liability is found notwithstanding the foregoing, it is limited to $100 in the aggregate.

Your submissions

By submitting a form, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorized to provide it. Communication consents you give on a form are described on the form itself and in the Privacy Policy.

Intellectual property

The content of the Site, including text, design, and graphics, belongs to Compass Camper LLC or its licensors. You may link to and quote the Site's guides with attribution; you may not republish substantial portions commercially without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising under these terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Oregon, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms from time to time; continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. Questions can be sent to [email protected] or through the contact page.
